Overview

Bayanix are delighted to have been appointed as the Principal Contractor for The Warehouse project.

The derelict Warehouse building, originally opened before the second world war, will have a major refurbishment and fitout to create a highly individual single residence which will be finished to luxurious specification while retaining features which highlight it’s industrial past.

Smith & Newton Architects achieved planning permission for the project in April 2020, their design and detailing will produce a truly stunning result when the construction and fitout is complete. The design combines the buildings heritage and original features whilst incorporating contemporary and modern materials and finishes.

We are looking forward to working with the client and the architect to bring this unloved old building back to life.

  • Full welfare facilities in accordance with CDM
  • Scaffolding including conveyor system.

  • Foundations and below ground drainage
  • New steel frame inside the brickwork facades.
  • Structural alterations and brickwork restoration
  • New roof covering using VMZinc
  • Curtain glazing to a new 4 storey atrium
  • Crittall effect windows and doors
  • Full MEP and life safety systems
  • Full interior fit out
