Bayanix was appointed to deliver external works at Burberry’s Horseferry Road building, an iconic Art Deco structure in Westminster. The project involved façade repairs, waterproofing, and balcony renovations across multiple levels, as well as roof works. A rolling programme of scaffolding erection and dismantling allowed phased access to different sections of the building, ensuring timely completion while minimising disruption to internal operations.

Project Highlights

Phased Scaffolding Programme

A rolling programme of scaffolding erection, repair works, and dismantling enabled efficient access to all elevations and levels of the building. This approach minimised disruption to the surrounding area and streamlined the delivery of works.

Waterproofing and Balcony Repairs

Bayanix completed waterproofing works using a Bauder system and carried out structural repairs to balconies at levels 2, 6, and 7. Glazing replacements were also undertaken to enhance the building’s durability and functionality.

Independent Site Setup

To operate independently from the internal fit-out team, Bayanix established a fully equipped external site, including mobile welfare facilities, a generator, and storage solutions for COSHH materials.
