Project Overview
Bayanix was engaged as the principal contractor for the fit-out of internal and external communal office and terrace spaces spanning three floors of a historic building at 68 King William Street. Overlooking London Bridge and the River Thames, this former House of Fraser property required significant transformation to meet the client’s vision of a modern, high-end office and social environment.
The scope of work included design, manufacturing, and installation of bespoke elements such as feature staircases, joinery, and furniture, ensuring a cohesive and vibrant space for relaxation, work, and social interaction. This landmark project showcases Bayanix’s ability to simplify complex challenges while delivering exceptional quality.
Client Objectives
Halkin sought to create a sophisticated communal office space with premium finishes and seamless integration of social areas, both indoors and outdoors. Their concept design provided the foundation for Bayanix to develop manufacturing and detailed design drawings, ensuring the realisation of the client’s vision.
Central to the project were bespoke, high-quality elements such as two feature staircases and carefully designed furniture for the terrace. The result is a vibrant, engaging environment tailored for staff enjoyment and productivity.
